Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

Last updated: April 10, 2026

This is a placeholder privacy policy for Inbox Agent ("we", "us", "our"). It describes, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you use the service at inbox-agent.com and its subdomains, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is not legal advice and will be replaced with counsel-reviewed language before general availability.

What we collect

  • Account info. Your email address and authentication provider (e.g. Google), plus any workspace names you create.
  • Email content. Messages, drafts, attachments, and metadata sent or received through inboxes you create on Inbox Agent. This is the core of the product.
  • Usage data. Standard server logs: IP address, user agent, request paths, and timing — used for debugging and abuse prevention.

How we use it

  • To operate the service — routing email, rendering the UI.
  • To secure the service — detecting abuse and responding to incidents.
  • To improve the service — aggregate, de-identified metrics on feature usage.

Who we share it with

Inbox Agent is built on top of a small number of infrastructure providers (our email backend, our database, our hosting provider, our auth provider). Your data is shared with them only to the extent needed to run the service, and each is bound by its own terms. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your email content to train generative models.

How long we keep it

Account and email data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from primary storage within 30 days; encrypted backups age out within 90 days.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing support@inbox-agent.com. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), those rights apply.
